Transcribers Note: This document was given to me by Mr. Glenn R. Scott the gggggrandson of Joseph Orr. An elderly gentleman, he asked that I transcribe this document and place it on the web for researchers. Because of time constraints I am only placing the "Inventory of Slaves" on the web at this point. I hope to transcribe the whole doucment in the future.

Following is some brief information that I extracted from the will about Mr. Orr, his holdings and his family:
Joseph Orr was a resident of the Parish of St. Thomas in the East in the County of Surrey Island of Jamaica. He was the owner of two plantations, Cambridge and Springfield. The monies derived from the sale of his property was to be sent to Thomas Wheeler Milner, Esq. in England. The will was witnessed by William Cacet and John Sutherland.
Joseph Orr had two brothers William and David of the County Tyrone and Kingdom of Ireland, and three sisters Elizabeth, Frances and Rebecca. The Executors of the Estate were: John Scott, George Grant, Kean Osborn, James Henry and a relative of Mr. Orr. Samuel Johnston.
The will was signed on December 31 1790.
